Pilahuin is an indigenous community located in the Ecuadorian mountains. The word Pilahuin derives from the Quichua term “Pila” which means drawing or making figures and “Huin” which is the same as old or ancient. Our founders Cody and Jessica visited this community and supported by donating to the repair of the communal house, a place where women gather to work on crafts and sell their products to achieve self-sufficiency and have a dignified life and transmit their example of effort and perseverance. and hope to their home, they enjoyed many ancestral customs and their landscapes despite the cold and altitude of the region.
Pilahuin es una comunidad indígena que se encuentra en la sierra ecuatoriana, La palabra Pilahuin deriva del término quichua “Pila” que significa dibujar o hacer figuras y “Huin” que es igual a viejo o antiguo. Nuestros fundadores Cody y Jessica visitaron esta comunidad apoyaron donando para el arreglo de la casa comunal, lugar donde se reúnen las mujeres para trabajar en artesanías y poder vender sus productos para lograr su autosuficiencia y tener una vida digna y transmitir su ejemplo de esfuerzo, perseverancia y esperanza a su hogar, disfrutaron de muchas costumbres ancestrales y de sus paisajes a pesar del frío y la altura de la región.
